Found in the mortuary... Alive.

Sometimes you hear things here that leave you questioning so many things. Disturbed. Heart broken. In shock. That is the story of Junior (Iddi).

At the end of May, Junior's mother received a call late in the night, "do you know Iddi has died, he is in the mortuary?" The mother knows her son lives on the streets, but she has her own challenges and reasons why he is not home. She still loves him, he is her first born, but poverty causes many challenges that we fail to understand.

She quickly rushed to the mortuary, to the attendant there asking about a young man brought in a few days ago. Junior was found beaten to death on the streets and taken there. Where they left him.

When his mom arrived and the attendant took her back to identify the body, among many other bodies, they saw a hand move... it was Juniors. He was alive.

HE. WAS. ALIVE.

He spent three days in the mortuary.

Alive.

They quickly got him to the local hospital for treatment as he was beaten very badly. A few days later, he was back on the streets. A few days after that, we saw him there.

We know God brought us here for Junior. God has great plans for this young man's life. He has a story to tell. He has a heart for Jesus, he is passionate, he loves hard and protects his people.
